Hidizs MS2 Pro
Story Time:
I hope Im not too late for the party. This will be the first
review I made.
I started my interest with audio gears just around October, made a few researches
then I got my DAP around mid-November last year. I went to November Hifi Show
and I was given the Hidizs MS2 Pro by Pineapple Audio and from then on, I’ve
become more interested in this hobby more and more.

The Goods:
Hidizs MS2 Pro is released on August 7,2025. This iem is a 1BA + 1DD hybrid driver, uses a zinc alloy shell with a mirror finish on the body and Rhinohide leather texture in the middle. Im using the red tuning which has the warm and balance tuning with it’s 4.4mm stock cable and the black medium stock eartips.
The metal tends to be a bit fingerprint prone but it is still best to wipe and clean every after use. On the other hand, since this material is made from zinc alloy, I can say that this is indeed durable. Weighing 13g, I find the MS2 Pro a bit heavy fell and keeps on falling off on my ears from time to time and it’s still pretty intact may need a bit of tip rolling.
The Comfort:
As an office girlie, I’ve been listening to music for almost 5-6 hours a day
especially when I try to do deep work. Even with the weight, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable.
I did change the stock eartips to medium TRI Clarion eartips for sound and fit
improvement. (open for eartips suggestion). Even if the ear hook feels a bit
wobbly, it doesn’t affect the overall comfort. Eventually it feels light and
barely there.
The Sound:
Note: I have only tried the red nozzles.
What I like about this iem is that it’s treble make the music fun and not
harsh. Bass has its depth and rumble where I can feel the punch.
Sound
Signatures:
The
Bass
MS2 Pro is generous with its bass. The bass is boosted without
making the vocals muddied. T The bass keeps up with fast bassy tracks
while maintaining a clean overall sound. I would
like to highlight how Hidizs managed to deliver a bass that has body and depth,
you can even feel the rumble.
The
Vocals
MS2 Pro tends to deliver clear and clean vocals. I notice some tracks have a more
recessed vocals while some blends nicely with the instruments. In
general, vocals sound great on certain tracks, and I think a little more
consistency across the board would make this an even stronger performer for the
price. MS2 Pro supports the treble quite nicely.
As someone who is sensitive with treble, I appreciate how this iem perceives it, airy and open, fitting for the classical music I usually listen to.
Separations is very good with this iem. It doesn’t thin out one sound for the other as this is tested on Yosi Horikawa’s Wandering and Bubbles. No bleeding so far with the tracks I have used and tested. Enjoyed vocals and instrumentals like in a wide stage.
The Verdict:
Overall, MS2 Pro is a good entry level iem. Plug and play and its easy to drive. Energetic enough to make the whole
experience fun with a mix of the punch and clarity of the vocals and not
overwhelming. I have not experienced any listening fatigue at all. Very nice
for casual listening without being overanalytical on the music. Although being
a dynamic driver, it has potential with critical/technical listening as
separation is evident. I would recommend this also on ambient tracks as it
provides experience and engagement.
The Audience:
Should you buy this or not? It depends.
